Why do I have to bring a deposit? The 500chf is part of the deposit. The normal deposit for a 1 year contract is 2 months rent. When you pay the 500chf deposit, your room will be reserved for *you* (no one else can take your room) According to Swiss law, you have now entered a *verbal agreement* to take the room. This will stop other people from taking your room. We cannot show it to anyone else Note: This 500chf is *not* refundable the next day after you see the room, even if you change your mind !! It is normally refunded at the completion of your contract (3 months or 6 months later)
